The restaurant is excellent. This review, though, is about the “hotel,” and we were extremely disappointed by how misleading the listing was. The place was very clean, but the bathrooms are shared rather than in the rooms. My room door opened straight into the shared kitchen, so waking up to people talking and making noise was no pleasure. The hotel is also directly across the street from an active railway, with freight trains running all night. Just awful. Our only saving grace was turning on the crappy, noisy AC unit. It blocked half the room’s only window, so fresh air was out of the question, but it worked somewhat like a noise machine and helped cover the trains overnight. This is basically an expensive, glorified hostel. Thank God we were there for just one night! Expedia won’t let me post photos, but I’ll add them to Google maps.

The three of us ordered cod, ongluet de boeuf and risotto, and every dish was superb. The French Pinot Grigio was reasonably priced at $60.00, and the service was excellent. This little oasis in Saint Pascal is popular, too. It was full, and we’d highly recommend it to foodies.

Really tidy and clean place. I had a great experience here.

On a Monday evening in mid-September, we were delighted to come across such an excellent restaurant. We enjoyed plates that were both delicious and interesting, and the chef didn’t miss a beat. The service was so warm. Judging by the smiles around the room, I think the other diners would recommend it too. We certainly do.

The bistro is at the edge of town beside the train tracks, a surreal spot for somewhere so hip and friendly. We got great service, too. The meal was one of the best we’ve had in years, with playful, creative combinations using fine local produce. We felt lucky to find this gem!
