The room was a good size and clean, though old. The walls are so thin you can hear everything, and the faucets or shower sound so loud you’d think they were in your room. There’s no elevator, so hauling luggage up and down 15 steps isn’t fun. Two stars seems fair.

The pictures on booking.com show only a few newly built rooms, while most of the rooms look much older. I booked and paid for a deluxe apartment with two beds, but was given a room with one bed. When I complained, the staff refused to help and didn’t even apologize. They also wouldn’t print an invoice. After 15 minutes of discussion, I left without one. Very unfriendly and unprofessional.

Our room had an ocean view and a balcony with chairs, where we could sit and watch the sunset. The hotel seems relatively newly renovated, and the rooms were spacious and clean. Service was excellent. My only downside was the lack of an elevator, so luggage has to go up or down the stairs.

This should be five stars, but the Expedia ad was misleading. It said breakfast was available, so we assumed it would cost extra, but at check-in we were told there was no breakfast service at all. Very disappointing to find that out then.
