Okotoks Country Inn

I stayed in October 2025 with my two dogs and enjoyed it thoroughly. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bright halls had carpet that looked fairly new or at least well kept. The staff were wonderful and very pleasant. I wasn't expecting much when I booked, but this unassuming hidden gem exceeded all my expectations. I'd call it a solid 3-star hotel and definitely recommend it. You won't be disappointed.

The bed and pillows were really comfortable, and we had a great night's sleep. Econolounge was quiet, clean, and peaceful, with friendly, helpful staff who made us feel welcome. The location was convenient, and everything seemed well cared for. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back. I just wish there were a few more breakfast choices. I'd recommend Econolounge Okotoks to anyone after a clean, affordable, relaxing place to stay.

We were told a late checkout would probably be possible, but the man at the front desk gave us the opposite answer. Breakfast was very limited, just a couple of bagels and one cereal option, and there were no bowls and some cutlery was missing. The room was basic, the coffee machine was dirty, and the bathroom hadn't been cleaned properly. The heater was the loudest I've ever heard. Every time it came on, it sounded like an airplane in the room. This was a very budget, subpar one-night stay. We won't be back, and I'd advise others to choose somewhere else.

I really liked staying here. It's relaxed and the rooms are reasonably priced. Guests can use the breakfast kitchen for family meals, which was nice to see. I saw a family of six enjoying a meal together. There's also a nice smoking area outside, and I wasn't treated like a leper for smoking 😆.
