Scott and Liz were super friendly, and the place was clean and comfortable. Just right for a quick overnight getaway. About the noise complaints, it was fine for me, not that bad. If even the sound of wind in the leaves bothers you, choose somewhere else.

There are only 13 RV sites, so it feels uncrowded, and they also have a few cottages. The playground makes it a good spot for kids, even though the guests seemed mostly to be couples. It’s right across from the lake, with the highway in between, so you do hear traffic, but inside our RV it wasn’t bothersome. Liz and Scott take great care of the place. The bathrooms and showers were super clean, and there’s laundry, too. Several highly rated restaurants are just minutes away. We’d gladly recommend it.

For the price, this felt like a great value. We stayed three nights in late July for the Roots and Blues Festival, and it was much more reasonable than staying in town. The drive was about 10 minutes, close enough to be convenient. Our full service site was level, roomy, and really well maintained. I’d suggest site 5 if you want the most space. The washrooms and showers were top notch, and there’s a games shack with ping pong and football, plus an open pit for campfires. There’s also a small dog park and a handy parking area. The highway and railway are nearby, and the walls are thin, but we slept fine and didn’t find it noisy.

We had outdoor games like ping pong and horseshoes to enjoy, and the site and facilities were clean, amazing, and well maintained. It was easily the best campsite we stayed at during our trip around Canada. We were there one night with our RV, and I’d absolutely recommend stopping here. Thanks so much!

The lady at the front was so nice when we arrived, and we even met ozzy, the resident dog. The rooms are beautiful and soundproof, so the highway beside the cabins didn’t come through. We stayed two nights and weren’t disappointed. My family and I had an amazing time.
