The room was clean, but we didn't enjoy our stay. Hospitality was very poor, and a lady who seemed to run the place came across as rude, especially if you're a smoker, even though we followed their smoking rules. It looked like the room once had a thermostat, but it had been removed. We couldn't use any appliances because the cupboards were screwed and zip tied shut, and the shower wouldn't get to a decent warm temperature. Overall, not enjoyable at all 😔

I've stayed here several times over the past year when visiting family in Salmon Arm, and I wish I'd found the place sooner. The rooms and linens are always super clean, the bedding smells fresh, and the beds are comfortable in every room I've tried. The lady who runs the motel is so kind, friendly and accommodating. I honestly can't say enough good things about it.

The Happy Salmon is right on the Trans Canada highway, just east of Salmom Arm, so you can hear some traffic. Our room was at the back of the motel and was very quiet. Rates were very reasonable, and if you want a bite before settling in, I'd eat in Salmon Arm first since there isn't much choice nearby. There's a restaurant in Canoe, BC, a little farther down the highway. It's a really cute little motel. Though older, it was clean and the bathroom had been updated. The room was small but worked for the two of us, with a table and two chairs, a fridge with freezer, a bookshelf and a TV.

The staff are wonderful and friendly, and the rooms are large and very clean. This place is amazing and definitely worth staying at. It's only an hour from Revelstoke.

The owner made my visit memorable with warm greetings and real care from the moment I arrived. They went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable, and their kindness and attention to detail showed even in the small requests. I was genuinely impressed by the hospitality. That personal touch made the stay convenient and very pleasant. If you want a motel with thoughtful service, I highly recommend it. Thanks again to the owner.
