I was really pleased with the trees I ordered and will definitely buy from them again. Their wide range of apple trees made it easy to pick varieties for my garden, and the website was straightforward, with detailed species information, growing advice, and flavor profiles. Delivery came promptly to my door, and the trees were carefully packed and in excellent shape. Customer service was friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer my questions. Highly recommend!

The host was very friendly, and the view was great. We came near closing time and late in the season, so they weren't offering the full menu. It didn't look extensive anyway. The venue was neat and tidy. I prefer sweeter cider, and most of theirs are crisp and dry, so I didn't care for many of them. If you like more complex flavors, though, this might be right up your alley. The different flavors come from different apple varieties, not additives or other fruit, which makes them quite complex. Just not my thing.

The bare root apple trees were very high quality, with excellent growth and branching. I ordered 30, and every single one succeeded. I chose them for the large selection of unusual varieties. Highly recommend, and thank you!

The balcony at the cidery has a stunning view, and you can sample a flight of their increasingly varied, mature hard ciders. I’ve been coming to Salt Spring’s apple festivals for well over a decade and have watched this orchard grow from a fledgling operation into the island’s premiere establishment. That’s quite an achievement given Salt Spring’s rich apple history and community. It’s THE place to buy apple trees, with thousands of nursery whips available, all grafted on site.
