Mineral Springs Resort

Melissa was an amazing host and property manager, but the place needs a lot of repairs and the owners seem to put very little into upkeep. It’s sad because there’s a lot of potential. We left a night early after seeing how much work was needed and how little the owners seemed to care about the resort. It doesn’t really feel like a resort anymore. There are no windows for airflow, the beds were incredibly hard and uncomfortable, and the couches were old with worn cushions. Stay here at your own risk.

We rented the house for a Valentine’s family weekend with three adults and four children. The jacuzzi and its water felt healing and were enjoyable for the kids and me, their grandma. The view you wake up to and see again in the evening is so beautiful, I can’t find the words. Just breathe it all in. We loved it and will be back. PS, please use a different house cleaning company in the future, and give the patio a bit more TLC.

This was one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed. There’s a boil water advisory, but no notices in the cabins. A previous structure fire has left dangerous areas that aren’t cordoned off, where a child could fall through. The resort is falsely advertised, and the nearby restaurants mentioned are all permanently closed.

We had a fun stay, and the staff were kind and helpful. There were three of us in the two-bedroom unit, which had a great layout and nice amenities. The view is amazing, and having a barbecue grill was a game changer. We used it a couple of times a day. The resort does need updating, and some deck boards were rotten, though we could still sit outside and eat. Even with the upgrades it needs, I’d stay again.
