Sue and Chris are incredible hosts. Every year we feel like we're visiting family when we come back to Salt Spring Carriage House. The hospitality, rooms, and BREAKFAST are all amazing. I’ve stayed here multiple times over the past decade and can’t believe I never wrote a review before. It’s the best accommodation on Salt Spring, and one of the best places I’ve stayed anywhere in the world, across the many countries I’ve been fortunate enough to visit. Such a special place, highly recommend!

Sue's daily breakfasts arrive right into the suite through a dumbwaiter, with cookies for the dogs too. It was such a great way to wake up ready for the day. The Garden Suite felt almost too perfect for us and our two dogs. It was clean, with a private fenced garden where the dogs could roam while we enjoyed the hot tub. Sue was so gracious that we felt at home straight away. She really puts the B&B back in Airbnb! We'd recommend this place to any friends visiting the salt spring island.

Sue was so kind and worked around our schedule, which went above and beyond. I loved having a private hot tub right outside the front door, and my Partner especially liked the unique fireplace that quickly took the chill out of the air. It kept us cozy. We were originally going to stay at my good buddy's shack near sunrise place, which would have been comfortable but very rustic. I'm glad I redirected us to Salt Spring Carriage House B&B. We'll be back. Thanks, Sue! And definitely try the Banana bread muffins, so good!

We came for a wedding on Salt Spring Island and spent three nights here. Sue was wonderful, and the hosts made us feel so welcome. The Garden suite was beautiful, clean, soundproof, and very comfortable, and the fresh breakfast each morning was delicious. Only regret is missing breakfast on our last day because we had to rush for the ferry. Thanks to Sue for such a lovely stay.

Sue lives on site in a separate building and makes breakfast for the guests. Her scones are amazing! The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and really well lit, with a microwave, small fridge, coffee maker, and basic kitchenware. The patio is fantastic, with shade for hot sunny days and a relaxing hot tub. Sue was a wonderful host.
