Super 8 by Wyndham Saskatoon Near Saskatoon Airport

The sink barely drains, and even though I asked for it to be fixed, nothing was done. The shower head is disgusting. They say the place was newly renovated, but I couldn’t see it at all. There’s no gym or amenities. This is probably one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in, and I’d never go back.

The room was clean and presentable, with a comfy bed and great pillows. I felt comfortable the whole time. Check-in from my phone before I arrived made everything easy, and the renovations over the last year and a bit have made the lobby much more welcoming. A great experience from arrival to checkout!

The room had what I needed and was comfortable. The bed and pillows were comfortable too, and everything was very clean. It looks like they updated the colours and fixtures throughout. I’d stay again.

The staff were helpful and the room was clean and decent, so it worked as an okay one-night stop on my cross-country trip. It wasn’t very soundproof, though noise didn’t bother me during my stay. The price seemed a bit high for what you got, but reasonable compared with other city options. Breakfast was quick and basic, as you’d expect at a budget hotel. Seating was limited, and most tables were dirty with coffee spills or leftover food. Nobody seemed to be looking after the dining area. The atmosphere around the hotel wasn’t great either. A few people around the parking lot and lobby made me uneasy. Some looked like they might be homeless or dealing with addiction, and staff didn’t seem to step in. I was nervous leaving my car, especially after seeing an older review about a broken window. Thankfully nothing happened. The surroundings and upkeep in the shared areas could use work.
