During a stay-and-play hockey tournament, we found management’s treatment of guests really disappointing. The manager yelled at people gathered in the lobby and spoke to paying guests with complete disrespect. Families and hockey teams spend a lot to stay at hotels during tournaments, and being shouted at instead of addressed professionally was unacceptable. We understand there need to be rules and quiet hours, but customer service and professionalism matter. The experience left a very negative impression. If you’re travelling with a sports team, this hotel doesn’t feel welcoming, and we wouldn’t choose to stay again.

Being close to restaurants and local attractions made the location especially convenient. The room was clean, comfortable, and laid out well, so it was easy to unwind after a long day. Staff were welcoming, and the hotel seemed well maintained. Great place to stay, and I’d happily come back or recommend it to anyone wanting somewhere comfortable and convenient.

The bathroom tile was really cold underfoot, though maybe that was just this room’s location. Otherwise, the room was clean and well appointed, and the bed was comfortable. The fridge was a decent size and had a freezer, which came in handy. I’d stay here again.

I was working on my laptop late and didn’t get into bed until around midnight. When I lay down, I noticed the pillow smelled of perfume. I don’t wear perfume, and I hadn’t been in bed before that. I messaged the front desk to ask why it smelled that way but got no reply, so I called. The person there said nothing could be done and that I’d have to speak with management in the morning. I’ll update after that conversation, but for now I can’t recommend this hotel. It doesn’t change its bedding after someone has slept in it, and I strongly suggest people look elsewhere.
