Glenview Cottages

We hadn’t planned to stay here, but we fell for the property right away. The owners were extremely polite, respectful, and welcoming. We only had five hours there, yet enjoyed it so much. There’s a lot to explore, and it seems perfect for a 3-4 day visit. Our kids and parents loved it too. We’ll come back with a proper plan. Thanks for the wonderful experience!

The cabins are clean, spacious, and have what you need to cook for yourself. Mine was meant to be non-smoking, but it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Opening all the windows helped. What a great little spot.

Our house had sold, but the new place wasn’t ready yet, so I was grateful we could book a cabin for three nights for the four of us and our two fur babies. The cabin was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly, courteous, and professional. Thanks for your hospitality. P.S. the handheld can openers could be better.

We liked the hiking trails on the Glenview property, a nice touch for us as hikers. There’s also a small laundry room in a separate building, with the washer and dryer each costing $1.50. Each cottage has a landline phone for calling the office and local numbers. For long distance, you’d need a BELL calling card. In August 2025, a friend and I rented a one-bedroom cottage for two nights. I slept on a pull-out couch, which was very comfortable. A staff member brought me an extra blanket when I asked, and I appreciated that. Staff were friendly and helpful when needed. The cottage floors were “sweating,” mainly near the kitchen sink and in front of the bathroom toilet. Those are about the only cons I can think of. It’s not a luxury hotel, but you’re not staying home the whole time. There are restaurants and shopping in Sault. That’s it, and see the photos.
