Tranquility Bay Waterfront Inn

We stayed two nights in the cabin, which was comfortable and gave us lots of privacy. The setting is beautiful, with a hot tub overlooking the bay and a dock where you can watch the sunset. A great spot to experience the Sunshine Coast.

For a girls getaway, this place was such a good fit. The room was great, the hot tub was awesome, and we used the BBQ too. The owners were super nice and hospitable, and the whole property is so lovely you could stay right there without needing to go elsewhere. It could be great for a yoga or meditation retreat. We had free use of kayaks, paddle boards, and more, right by the private beach access. Sam was generous enough to invite us onto his boat while he was going sailing. At night, the stars overhead and the glowing water felt like magic. So happy we got to experience it. Thank you Sam and Joss!

Kayaking through the bioluminescence at night, with endless stars overhead, was an amazing way to top off our wedding here. The venue made a beautiful backdrop for the ceremony, and our guests enjoyed the amenities. Nigel, the property manager, was friendly, accommodating, and a calming presence through the whole process. Whether you’re planning an event or a vacation, we highly recommend this place!

Our engagement made the stay at Tranquility Bay’s sunset suite even more incredible, though the getaway would have been amazing on its own. The property was the most beautiful I’ve ever seen, with endless amenities. Nigel was an incredible host, always around when we needed anything, and he made us feel welcome. He also helped make my partner’s proposal extra special. We can’t wait to return. Thank you Nigel and Tranquility Bay, a trip of a lifetime :)
