Owlhead Creek Bed and Breakfast

We live in Kelowna and have found our new place to get away and disconnect. The couple who run the property give you room to yourself, but are easy to approach with questions. It’s such a peaceful, welcoming spot in the interior. The cabins are arranged among the trees with grazing pasture views and plenty of privacy, and the hot tub near the main house feels secluded. At night, the view from there is hard to beat. Trails start right on the property and lead to a creek and waterfall about a 20-minute walk away, with longer hikes available too. Our cabin was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. I’m so glad we spent my birthday here. If we’d known how special it was, we wouldn’t have made so many plans elsewhere. Can’t wait to come back.

Deb and Bruce are kind people, and I’d recommend their place to anyone I care about. I’ve stayed at plenty of Airbnb and bed-and-breakfast places while traveling for work and fun, and this one is definitely among my favorites. The property has lovely trees, grape vines, friendly animals, and a waterfall. Deb’s breakfasts are incredible, with homemade jams and pastries, ingredients from their land, and food from nearby farms. Such a treat, especially with Bruce’s jokes at the table. My mother is obsessed with the property too. Thank you for always having her!

I travel often as an elite athlete and have stayed at plenty of B&Bs. This is easily the best one I’ve been to. The rooms are beautiful, the food is amazing, and it’s excellent value. Deb and Bruce made us feel very welcome. We’ll definitely return, and I’d recommend it to anyone. A real hidden gem.

We spent a night in the cozy cabin we rented on Airbnb and loved the proper break from the city and screens. There’s no wifi or TV, which suited us, and we had a fire while looking up at the real stars. It’s set away from the highway, welcomes dogs, and has fresh eggs from the chickens just a stone’s throw away. The cabin kitchen is compact but workable, with a barbecue on the deck. The owner also showed us the Hangar, a larger building with three bedrooms. We’re hoping to get a group together for Friendsgiving there.
