I had high hopes after reading the good reviews, but this was the worst stay I've ever had. I was still wide awake at 3:30 AM, rereading the reviews and wondering if I was crazy. The only good thing was that the room was clean, though absolutely outdated. We didn't even bother showering before leaving, and I don't know whether the shower had any pressure. We just wanted out as soon as the sun came up. The room was beside someone who I assume lives at the motel full-time or was mentally unstable. There was constant banging and furniture moving until after 2 AM, plus loud ins and outs. Plumbing noise, which I assume was someone draining a bathtub at 1 AM, sounded like a flood coming through the walls. The heat system loudly kicked on every half hour, and the fridge added to the noise. I didn't sleep at all. The outlets by the bed couldn't give our phones enough power to charge, and the TV had no remote, so you had to get up to change the volume. Either we got the crappiest room in the motel or all those reviews were fake.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, and everything was very clean. We stopped for one night while travelling on our side-by-side and would definitely return. Restaurants, Walmart, and Tim's are all within walking distance.

A clean, comfortable throwback to a simpler time, with deck chairs outside each unit just like places had in the 60-70’s. I liked it better than most of the bigger chains I've stayed at. Highly recommend.

We spent the day cycling and chose Rogers Motel for its convenient location and fair price. The friendly service really impressed us. The grounds and rooms were clean and well kept, and we sat outside on a lovely evening with a few cold ones. The ice machine in the lobby and the handy in-room fridges came in useful. The owner was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend Rogers Motel!

Roger’s motel is easily the best place to stay in smith falls. J and the crew are so friendly and welcoming, the rooms are always the cleanest, and the property can even fit tractor trailers. It's trucker friendly and conveniently close to Walmart and Tim Hortons. Staying at Roger’s motel is a must. Thanks for always making us feel welcome!
