A charming little place, with clean, comfortable rooms and thoughtful extras that made the stay feel more homey. The owner was lovely to chat with and pointed out local attractions and things to do. I’d happily stay here again.

The Picket Fence Motel in St. George is a really good budget option, with rooms that feel far above the usual motel standard. They were clean, well stocked, and clearly looked after with care. The woman at the front desk was friendly and efficient. Great location too, I can recommend it without hesitation.

My husband and I spent two nights here, and everything about this little motel was excellent. The owners were friendly and very helpful. Our room was cute and very clean, with shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and all sorts of things you might have forgotten to pack. It’s within walking distance of the wharf and the little shops. I’d definitely stay again if I get the chance.

The shared courtyard is a lovely place to unwind at the end of a busy day, with comfy chairs and a fire pit tucked into an apple orchard. I’ve stayed here several times, and I’m always struck by the cleanliness and attention to detail. The owners want guests to enjoy this enchanted area. A great choice at a fair price for couples or families.

We enjoyed it enough to add another night. The unit was spotless and felt comfortable and homey, and the owners were friendly and accommodating. They’ve put together a really useful book with menus from every eatery in town and ideas for things to do. One of the nicest motels I’ve stayed in, and I’d certainly recommend it to other travellers.
