The Montague Rose Inn

The owner, Ben, was glad to answer our questions about the area, and the location made it easy to walk to all the downtown spots. Our room at the Montague Rose Inn was very clean and comfortable, and check-in and check-out were simple. We’ll definitely stay here again.

We came across this inn by chance while visiting St. Andrews, and loved how historic and comfortable it was. It had everything we needed, and the hosts clearly care about giving guests a great experience. Just a few streets up from downtown, so the location is ideal. I’d highly recommend it. Be sure to grab a smoothie and breakfast sandwich!

Ben, the owner, checked in when we arrived to make sure everything was working, and even gave us a little itinerary for the day. We stayed one night in the Verona room, which was clean, spacious, and modern with a sleek design. Montague Rose is so close to Main Street, which we loved. We highly recommend it and can’t wait to come back! :)

The owners were kind and helpful throughout. We arrived a little late after a long travel day, and Ben welcomed us and showed us around the room and inn. In the morning, Zainub and Ben offered breakfast, told us about the inn, and suggested good things to do in town. The Montague Rose was my favorite stop on our two-week trip in the Maritimes. The bed was so comfortable, everything was perfectly clean, and it was really quiet. The inn and room are beautiful, and the location is great for peaceful walks or heading on foot to restaurants, shops, and the water. We wished we could have stayed longer. I look forward to returning to St. Andrews and Montague Rose.
