Saint Andrews Inn & Suites

We found the room clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff were welcoming throughout. The suite upgrade was a nice bonus, especially with the full kitchen. Being close to town, restaurants, and the waterfront also made it easy and enjoyable to get around. A few things could be better: there weren’t enough electrical outlets, and the only closet was small, tucked around the corner by the bed, and awkward to access. The TV was small and not high definition, so watching sports was a bit challenging. It was still a solid place to stay in St. Andrews. With a few updates, it could be a five-star stay, and we’d be happy to return.

We really enjoyed staying at this pet-friendly inn. Our spacious room opened straight onto the grassy pet area, and we saw lots of guests sitting outside to take in the superb view. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Just steps away is a quaint, picturesque town that was the most pet-friendly place I’ve been to. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from, including some with waterfront patios. What a wonderful inn.

This was our second stay, and we’d absolutely stay again when passing through NB. We like that every room is over the water, and it’s a quick walk to shops and restaurants. The rooms were clean and well maintained, the staff friendly, and the pool nice. Parking is limited, though, so arriving late could mean leaving the car on the road. Breakfast wasn’t great, but we don’t choose the place for that; the items feel more like a bonus.

The bay view through the back window was the one good thing. We should’ve read the reviews before booking. The mattresses in both double queen beds were soft in the middle and need replacing, and the whole place smelled of pool chlorine. The room was tiny despite the photos making it look normal-sized. There’s no elevator, so we hauled our luggage up and down stairs, then across a rough lot to the sidewalk and on to the car. We couldn’t use the hotel lot because it was being repaved, and street parking was a big problem. The rooms had been updated, but the lobby and first floor were not somewhere I’d normally stay. Go somewhere else.
