We’re staying here now and really like the service. There’s a planned power outage in town tonight, so the owner and property manager sent us a photo of three lanterns for us to use after dark. A thoughtful way to show they care about their guests. They’re friendly and professional, and the inn is close to town.

The food was phenomenal, and they use greens from their garden. The hosts were so welcoming and nice, almost like family. Out back, the garden and fire pit are lovely and have plenty of room for a group; they even provided firewood during my stay. The beds were more comfortable than any hotel bed I’ve had. One of the nicest places I’ve stayed, and a 10/10 recommendation for a visit to st. Andrews.

We’d gladly stay here again. Breakfast was delicious, and it was lovely sharing it with the other guests and the welcoming host ladies. Our room had its own character and tasteful decor, nothing like the generic hotel rooms you see everywhere. The historic house is elegant, cozy, and charming, not old and moldy as that description might suggest. It’s quiet, about a 10-minute walk to the town centre and just five minutes from the waterfront park. There was a mismatch with the prices on booking.com, but the hosts honored the lower price.

Breakfast was delicious, and the hosts were extremely sweet. The house sits on a picturesque lot and is pretty, clean, and well maintained, within walking distance of the St. Andrews waterfront and main streets. Our room was bright and very clean, as was the private bathroom. The shower pressure could have been better, but we appreciated the welcoming touches in the shared spaces.

We met two wonderful friends here, which made the trip even more special. It’s a warm, welcoming, relaxing place, and people around town had the same positive attitude. If you want to see nature up close, deer show up daily, and bike trails are only a few feet away. It’s hard to see why this beautiful place would get less than five stars.
