Our room had a lovely ocean view, including the sea caves, and Fundy National Park is less than a 15-minute drive away. There’s plenty to do in St. Martin. The room was spacious, the owners were great, and breakfast was delicious. Any item on the menu could be included with the stay.

We had the Loft, with plenty of floor space, a comfortable bed, and great views. Breakfast was included downstairs in the little restaurant and was enjoyable. It’s a welcoming home and a great place to rest before heading out to enjoy Fundy. The B&B owners were friendly and helpful, and the sitting area on the third floor was lovely. My one-year-old could crawl around there and stretch out after hours in the car. There are lots of rooms to choose from. Highly recommended!

The restaurant was incredible. Mike even comes out of the kitchen to greet many of the diners, which makes for such a great atmosphere. The rooms in this beautiful old historic home were lovely, and the hosts were amazing. One of the best B&B stays we’ve had!

Salmon River B&B is an excellent place to explore this part of the eastern seaboard. The Fundy Trail is continuing to extend along the coast and will eventually connect even more destinations, and this makes a great base. I honestly can’t recommend the place enough. We stayed two nights in the shoulder season, just as they were opening for summer, and couldn’t have been happier. The room was a typical B&B size, but the bathroom was much larger than I’d expect, at least twice the size of a regular hotel bathroom. From the outside the building looked modest and small, but inside it was modern, immaculate, surprisingly spacious, and very comfortable. Mike and Barb were excellent hosts. The food was a highlight. They offer a broader breakfast menu than most B&Bs, and the restaurant could stand on its own. My wife had scallops for dinner and I had a salmon dish. We were both delighted, and the Death By Chocolate dessert was good, too. They have a liquor license and a decent selection. I enjoyed a porter with my salmon, though that pairing may not suit everyone; there are plenty of options. Mark, who grew up in Denver, also makes southwest-style dishes alongside the expected fresh seafood, chicken, and steak. At the end of the evening he came out to chat with everyone, which was a treat. Mark used to be a Denver PD officer and retired to St. Martins with his wife. They have interesting stories and easy, enjoyable conversation. Their staff choices were excellent, and we had fun interacting with everyone. Mark isn’t from the area originally, but after about a decade there he knew the sights well and shared some viewpoints we hadn’t found elsewhere. There’s a third-floor common room set up like a comfortable family room, with a central table and chairs for work or games. Its balcony looks out over the nearby harbor and gives a clear view of the sea caves. The place also has a fully modern fire system, including fire doors. I’m not used to seeing that in B&Bs in the States, and I don’t know if it’s because of Canadian rules or the owners’ own choice. In comfort and amenities it feels more like a modern, quaint hotel than the simple refurbished home many B&Bs are.

The room was comfortable, clean, and cozy, and we had an amazing view of the water. The owners were lovely and accommodating. We ordered our included breakfast from the Fiori’s menu, all for a very modest price. This is the B&B I’d pick in St. Martins.
