Motel et Condo Chez Charley

Cold, dirty, and the pillows were bad. Ants and bugs came free with the stay. Terrible!

The room was basic but nice, and the bedrooms were cute and practical. Our three-bedroom condo could use better furniture for watching TV. The futon was in the wrong spot and wasn't good. There's plenty of parking and lots of food nearby. Being next to the highway makes sleeping a little rough, but you can't have everything. For the price, it did the job, and we'd stay again. Service was acceptable.

We were in the upstairs two-bedroom suite, condo no. 1, with a kitchen and sitting area. It was very clean throughout, with hot showers, air conditioning, a fridge, and comfortable, cozy beds. The location is practical for sightseeing in Quebec city, with coffee shops and other amenities close by, though it isn't scenic. The decor isn't modern, but that didn't bother us since we mainly wanted a break from driving before exploring Quebec city the next day. We didn't use the balcony, but it was nice to have. The price was excellent, especially for summer. You can hear cars from the busy road nearby, and the soundproofing could be better. I hope they keep cleaning carefully and update the condos, since a few touch-ups are already needed.

Joanne was so understanding last year when I had to cancel because my mum was unwell. My parents were visiting from Scotland, but their trip had to be called off. When they could come this year, I booked here straight away. Joanne is awesome, and we've had a wonderful visit. The two-bedroom unit is just right, really well equipped and clean, and well located for local attractions and great places to eat. From my room I can see the beautiful basilica all floodlit. We're leaving for Montreal tomorrow, and I wish we had more time. If we come back to Quebec, we'll book here again. Thanks for everything, Joanne!
