Kari and Suzanne were wonderful to deal with, going above and beyond again and again to look after our group. We’d booked a large block of rooms for a sports tournament on a sold-out weekend, and everyone was treated so thoughtfully despite how busy it was. The location was perfect, the rooms were super clean, and the pool and breakfast were great too. Five stars doesn’t feel like enough.

The rooms were clean, the staff were nice, and the location was good. The pool slide was a standout. The hot tub smelled kind of fishy, though, which was pretty gross, even though there weren’t any fish in it. We were sad we didn’t get to see Elsa 😔, but thanks to the employee who got us pictures of the wigs. We’re big fans.

Breakfast was a struggle: the waffle mix ran out at 7:30 while the kids’ hockey teams were coming through, even though the hotel knew they were staying there. It took ages to refill, so some of our kids barely had time to eat a waffle. The staff member said she was the only one working. I told her the hotel should have scheduled better or prepared enough batter for the expected Sunday rush. We also had to remind the front desk to turn on the pool slide. Kids were going down it with no water, and the staff seemed unaware. Pool towels kept running out too, which didn’t seem prepared for a busy weekend. Room 233 is at the end of the hall beside the stairwell. We heard people running up and down and the heavy door opening and slamming, with no soundproofing. Staff did get the running to stop by 11. The bed made a loud rustling sound whenever I moved, and I was trying not to wake my kids, who had already had trouble falling asleep. The room and bathroom were VERY CLEAN, and the room looked modern and was well appointed. That was a big plus, but I wish the rest had measured up. Maybe I’d feel differently in a room away from the stairs. If noise and squeaky sheets don’t bother you, the cleanliness was top notch, which matters most to me. Clean overall, but there’s room to improve.

Deacon was so sweet, quick to respond, and accommodating. The breakfast had LOTS of options, though I’d like to see some non-pork meat choices. The outdoor hot tub was a really nice feature too. We booked a fun Christmas Day night with the kids and loved it. The room was the prettiest I’ve ever stayed in, more like a mini apartment, and the bathroom was lovely. The bed was really comfortable, though I forgot my own pillow and hotel pillows just don’t cut it for me. The hotel seemed new and was surprisingly soundproof, which I appreciate as a parent with young kids, mostly for everyone else’s sanity. I’d read complaints about missing pool towels, and did see lots of people taking towels back to their rooms. They can’t be washed and replaced properly if they’re missing from the pool area. All in all, a great stay. Thanks, Days Inn, we’ll be back!

The location worked really well, with grocery stores, gas stations, and a few other restaurants nearby. Chucks Roadhouse is right across from the front door, and the breakfast selection was good. The pool was a nice place to spend time too. Staff were kind, and I was pleasantly surprised by the free soup in the late afternoon. It’s a welcome option for layover guests who don’t want to head out for food.
