Martin was incredibly kind and helpful, and I loved the old charm of both the hotel and the town during my three days there. The building is 100 years old, so the room may be a little crooked or small. Just keep that in mind and enjoy the history. I didn’t want to leave ❤️ A helpful tip for anyone traveling with children: the walls are very thin, so they could disturb other guests. That’s not the kids’ fault, but it could affect everyone’s stay.

The rooms are cute, but the beds felt like sleeping on plywood, and the floor slopes. There’s also a really annoying shower drip that can’t be fixed quickly. The place looks very old from the outside and is old inside too.

For a small historic hotel on Main Street in this remote corner of BC, it has clean rooms, decent beds, and a nice common area on the third floor. The hosts were great, and the creaky stairs add to the charm, though there’s no elevator. It’s certainly not a 4 star hotel, but I’d recommend it to anyone in Stewart. I’m curious what the owners might eventually do with the first floor, maybe a bar or restaurant.

It’s a vintage building with vintage decor, but I have no real complaints. The place was clean and comfortable. I didn’t interact with anyone, so I can’t rate the service higher, though I had no problems. It’s not the Ritz, but if you need somewhere to sleep, I highly recommend it.

We had a room on the third floor for two nights, and the stairs were no problem for this old guy, though millennials may not love them 😀. The place was nice and clean, and even with all the rain, the motel’s common room had couches, a TV, and videos to enjoy. There are three great places to eat just steps away. I’d stay here again.
