Tim has made this place feel really special. We’ve been twice now, and it already feels like home. The fishing grounds are easy to reach, the schedule works well, and the food is great. I love coming here and can’t wait to return. The fishing’s a bonus!!!

The guides were a highlight for me. They were friendly, professional, and knew the area well. I learned a lot about Nootka island, including its history and culture. The staff at the lodge were just as helpful and polite. Even though we came during one of the slowest parts of the salmon season, everyone in my group went home with plenty of great fish. I’ve stayed at more than 100 camps and lodges, and the food here was the best I’ve had. It was tasty, there was always enough for seconds or thirds, and the cook clearly cared about every detail. 10/10 for the food. The lodge itself was spotless, from the bathrooms and bedrooms to the shared spaces. My two-bedroom room suited two people well, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone after a breathtaking fishing adventure.

I’ve been here twice and had an amazing time both visits. Matt guided me the first time, then Shane the second. They’re both friendly, really nice guys, and great at catching fish. Shane had me laughing too. Good job, guys!

The fishing was excellent, and the guides were genuinely helpful. Everyone on staff seemed happy to help, too. My room was clean and comfortable, and the washroom was tidy with a hot shower. Meals were above average, with big portions and plenty to enjoy for a fishing lodge. I had a very good stay and hope to come back as soon as I can. Thanks.

We had great halibut and red spring fishing, plus some nice ling and rock fish. When the weather got rough, we could head inside the surrounding islands and still catch salmon, which I loved. It’s a family-run operation, and Tim welcomed us when we arrived. The staff and guides were awesome, and the meals were exceptional. They served fresh salmon each night with a different sauce. My guide Matt was excellent at handling the boat and making sure every bite made it aboard. The fish packaging was fabulous, and the filleting was excellent. Five stars from me. Can’t wait to get back out there. Tight lines, all!
