Hotel Motel Le Chateauguay

We found the room clean and roomy enough, with a fridge and parking, which made things easy. It's a simple, no-frills place, but it had what we needed. The walls are thin and you can hear neighbors, though earplugs are provided and help. A comfortable, solid choice for a basic stay.

At 5 a.m. I calmly called reception to report a bed bug in the bed. It had bitten my shoulder and neck all over, and all I wanted was a garbage bag to protect our clothes and belongings. The man on the phone didn't seem to care and rudely told me to call back after 8. Were we meant to sleep with bed bugs until then? We got our own bags, spent the next three and a half hours packing, and then stood around because we were afraid to sit on any of the furniture. We wasted $120 and a whole day because of this, and we're still shaken. We've washed our clothes three times and thrown away some things from the room. I have the full video, including the hotel and bed. We squashed the bug and flushed it right after. The food allergy comment? Lol. This was a horrible stay, and I wouldn't recommend it. Spend a little more on a better hotel. Even if they have bed bugs, maybe the service and help will be better.

Really good place, and it deserves a higher rating. The staff were kind and friendly, and the room was comfortable and clean with great AC. The pool and sauna were spotless and worked well. Everything came at a reasonable price. Thanks, y'all 🇨🇦🙏❤️

The location worked really well for us, close to both the old port and downtown, and the pool, sauna, hot tub, and gym are all great amenities. Our room felt small for two, though, and I personally found it odd and uncomfortable that a curtain separated the bathroom.
