We loved the hotel's quirky style and our room, and the private sauna was a treat. The location is amazing, with private outdoor parking as an added bonus. Everyone we dealt with was friendly, helpful, and responsive. We also appreciated the thoughtful features: hot and cold water coolers on every floor, dimmable lights, a motion-sensor bathroom light, heated bathroom floors, and blackout curtains. Nomad followed its environmentally friendly practices too, including providing a mini fridge only when requested to save energy. Breakfast was very good, and having it delivered to the room was an option. We're looking forward to staying at Nomad again.

We came to Quebec City for a summer vacation in August, 2025 after friends recommended Nomad. Being able to walk to most of the old city worked perfectly for our visit. The hotel is in a beautiful historic building that mixes old-world charm with modern conveniences. Our tastefully decorated room had everything we needed, and the balcony and chairs just outside were a nice touch. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, supplying what we needed in the room and assisting with directions and bookings. I'd recommend ordering the morning breakfast to your room. We hope to return when we're in Quebec City again.

We tried to make the best of it, but the room was uncomfortable and the poor air quality affected us. At 6 a.m. we packed up and left a day early. The desk was unattended, with nowhere to leave the keys, so we left them on a stool and emailed later to explain we were unhappy. They didn't ask why. The booking was nonrefundable, so it feels like they got our money and were happy with that. We had booked a room with a spa package, expecting something reasonable. After checking in, we were led up two flights of a beautiful circular staircase. The room was dark and smelled bad. We were shocked to learn the washroom was elsewhere on the floor, about 5 by 5 feet, with a shower, toilet, and sink. We left our bags and went out to the weekend event we'd come for. Parking on site was the best part, at $30 a day. Coffee arrangements were odd too: there were two machine pods on the first floor, while the water dispenser was on the second.

Our flight was canceled, and the staff kindly went out of their way to let us stay an extra night. We were so grateful. We loved staying at Hotel Nomad, a cozy hidden gem with beautiful design and plenty of charm. It's perfectly placed for exploring Old Québec, and the whole place feels warm and welcoming. We'll definitely stay here whenever we come back to Québec City.

The location made for quiet nights while keeping all the sights close by. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel’s app made it easy to find services, places to eat, and things to see. I loved the Florence Adelaide White Suite: it had an antique feel, a roomy bathroom with a soaker tub and modern shower, and a cozy chaise nook looking out toward Chateau Frontenac and the St Lawrence River. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. I’d highly recommend Hotel Nomad.
