Days Inn by Wyndham Stony Plain

The rooms are a little small, but very clean and laid out well, with comfortable beds and good bathroom products. The hot breakfast was wonderful, and everyone, from the front desk to the breakfast area, was friendly and keen to make our visit enjoyable. This was our first stop here, and we’ve already booked it for the trip home. We’ll keep coming back.

Had a great sleep here. The mattress, sheets, and pillows were just right, and the place was clean and quiet in a nice neighbourhood. Thanks for the hospitality.

We’ve just travelled across Canada from Nova Scotia, staying in hotels every night, and we always tell them we have a dog. We don’t mind paying a pet fee, and we told the desk here too. They gave us a room, but only when we were leaving and saw the receipt did we notice a $200 charge for “sneaking a pet in.” We asked how that could be the case when we walked past the desk with the dog every hour. I also asked why nobody came to the room to check with us. We could have cleared it up quickly, but instead we were charged an unwarranted $200. We’ve used Wyndham along the way, and they can check our reservations to see we always disclose our small dog.

I was working nightshift, and this is a loud, busy spot, so I wouldn’t recommend it for that. My room faced direct sunlight and got extra hot, while the air conditioner made a noisy, possessed-sounding racket. The room was small, the bed not especially comfortable, and there was no gift bag for diamond members at check-in.
