Best Western Sunrise Inn & Suites

We had six of us, including four teenagers, in one room for three nights, and the room had plenty of space. Everyone enjoyed the pool, and the included breakfast had something for all of us. Getting to Edmonton and West Ed Mall was a quick drive. The only shortfall was not having enough dishes and cutlery for six, even though the room sleeps that many. We’d stay again.

The room itself was great, the breakfast was decent, and the front desk staff were helpful. But when we arrived for our move, I found out that the “pet friendly” room I’d booked online didn’t include cats. That caused a lot of stress. I called around, but apparently no other hotels would take a cat, so I stayed here and kept mine in the vehicle. I barely slept worrying through the night. I wish the cat restriction had been made much clearer.

We always enjoy staying here and it never lets us down. Kim makes the hot coffee and best breakfast, and does it so wonderfully. Thanks, Kim, you’re the best!

The two women working in the dining area and kitchen were so friendly and helpful, and clearly work hard. Leave them a tip! We paid $898 with all fees for six nights, which felt like great value. The location, pool, and fantastic breakfast are why we like staying here, though there were a couple of frustrating things this time. During our six-day stay, room service came only once, after three days, and nobody told us at check-in that this was the policy. I also asked the front desk about a promotion I saw posted in several places and was told it had expired. A few days later I saw the signs again, scanned the QR code, and found out I’d missed two days of double points. I let staff know politely that day and again at checkout, but wasn’t offered the points back. It wasn’t a huge deal, but the information they gave me was wrong.
