Caledonia House B&B

Breakfast was spectacular: juice, coffee or tea, a delicious homemade egg dish with toast, fresh high quality fruit, and a scrumptious homemade cake for dessert. I have celiac disease, and they accommodated my dietary needs well. Our room was lovely and very comfortable, and we enjoyed tea in the front room when we arrived. The B&B is incredibly beautiful, and Anna and Michael are gracious hosts. My sister and I had originally booked a stay in August, then had to move it to October after she broke her foot. We expected to lose our payment because we were changing the trip at the last minute, but Anna and Michael kindly offered us a different date. It was very kind. We had a perfect stay and will be back!

We felt like part of the family with Anna and Michael. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and breakfast was amazing, with lots of delicious food and dessert too 😄. Breakfast was a lovely shared meal with other theatre patrons, and Anna’s cooking was DELICIOUS. The hosts were thoughtful and helpful, and the common areas were laid out beautifully for guests. We only stayed one night, but plan to return for longer and enjoy more of the B&B and town. Our Garden room was on the main floor, just off the shared living room. Its two twin beds joined into a comfortable king-width bed, with ample space. The en suite had a tub and shower, toilet, and sink, and there was also a powder room off the main floor hallway. It’s an idyllic B&B in a great location, an easy walk across the bridge to the town centre and about 10-20 minutes to the various theatres. There was enough parking for a full house of guests. It was delightful to find a charming B&B to replace my former go-to, whose owner retired. Thank you!

The house is beautiful, and my room was just right. Anna and Michael were generous and took such good care of me throughout my stay. Anna’s breakfasts are legendary, and Michael’s attention to detail and service are unmatched. Their lives have been fascinating, too. Once they get talking, you’ll hear stories you could listen to for days. I can’t imagine finding better hosts, and highly recommend Caledonia House to anyone visiting Stratford.
