Majer's Motel

There’s a long walk to downtown Stratford, though it’s doable, and the drive is short and easy. Majer's was quiet at night, clean throughout, and well lit outside. The staff and owners were very friendly. Most other guests seemed to be families or festival groups, at least during my stay. I didn’t use the pool, but it looked well maintained and several people and families were enjoying it. I was pleasantly surprised to find a large refrigerator in the room. It’s an excellent budget choice for seeing a show, and I’d absolutely stay again for another one.

We needed a one-night stay for a baseball tournament, and the pool and outdoor common area were a great touch. The beds were comfortable and the rooms super clean. It’s a little old, but charming, a hidden little gem.

We were a family of 13 and had a nice stay. Santosh clearly takes great pride in keeping the property clean and well maintained. The host was really amazing, and we enjoyed the nice pool. Breakfast was limited, but nice. Thank you, Santosh!

The rooms have lovely touches that make them feel like home, and there are beautiful flowers outside. A modest, clean place to stay while visiting Stratford.
