The Parlour Inn

A young boy at the hotel was so kind and went out of his way to carry my baggage and make sure I was comfortable. Dinner was excellent, too, with delicious food and attentive service. I had a wonderful stay, and I’m very thankful for the hospitality. I’d definitely recommend this hotel.

The staff were warm and quick to help with anything we needed, and the room itself was spacious and well cared for. The bed was comfortable, with lots of pillows, and the bathroom had plenty of towels plus good shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion. Parking was the one drawback: the lot is small and wasn’t cleared of snow in winter, though it didn’t spoil our stay at the Parlour Inn.

We had dinner and breakfast in the beautiful restaurant, and both the food and service were great. The room was pleasant and nicely equipped, and the hotel was immaculate despite its age, with loads of character. It’s just a two-minute walk from the Avon Theatre and handy for exploring Stratford’s shops. Such a lovely atmosphere, and a great downtown place to stay.

The staff were kind and helpful, and the chocolates and wine they left for our anniversary were a lovely surprise. We also appreciated the included breakfast, plenty of hot water, and the easy walk to restaurants and theatres. We stayed in July 2025 for a quick getaway, but the room felt dated for the price, and we’ve found nicer inns for less. The air conditioning smelled strongly musty, and the couch was squeezed right beside one side of the bed, making it awkward to get in and out. The Parlour Inn has charm and a great location, though the rooms could use updates to their look and layout.
