Summerland Waterfront Resort & Spa

We stopped here for a quick night on our way to the coast, and it was a good choice. The room was clean, cozy, and welcoming, the staff friendly, and the linens amazing. We slept really well and enjoyed local wine with a lovely view from our balcony. We'll be back!

We had a suite with a kitchenette and appreciated having all the dishes and supplies we needed. The room was nice and clean, with a comfortable bed, an opening window, and a sliding glass door onto a private balcony overlooking the lake. The fireplace made it feel even cozier. The bathroom was especially thoughtful: under-cabinet lights came on automatically, handy at night without waking anyone. It also had a proper closing door and a fan, both very welcome. A nice stay, and we'd come back.

The boat options and family activities make it easy to stay busy, with beach time, water sports, bike rentals, and boat docking right out front. You can also rent a boat for the day. We mostly came away feeling relaxed, and for the quality and service, SWR feels reasonably priced. The setting is beautiful, right on Okanagan lake with a nature reserve across from the resort. Bring binoculars if you enjoy birdwatching. Today we spotted a western bluebird, red-winged blackbird, and American Coot. Our one bedroom suite was lovely and spotless, and housekeeping was outstanding. We also saw the maintenance guy working all day and thoroughly cleaning the hot tub, which was reassuring. Mirel & Flo were especially kind, helpful, and professional. The restaurant next door has a charming Mediterranean feel, with excellent ambiance and food. The absolute best place. Five well deserved ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Thank you!

There was lots to do, and we had an amazing time at our ladies reunion last weekend. We're in our 60's, and we're already planning to come back next year. The room was great, the beds were really comfortable, and both the staff and the view were great.
