The trails around Schott's lake property were beautiful, but the restaurant was easily the highlight of our overnight stay. The prime rib dinner special was spectacular from start to finish, with some of the best soup and prime rib you’ll find. We came back for the Thanksgiving buffet brunch, which was just as fantastic. The selection was better than 90% of buffets anywhere else, especially for the price, and the ham was the best I’ve ever had. Service was wonderful, so kind and attentive. Hats off to Chef Chris and his amazing team!

The cooking class was a highlight for us. We picked up some pro tips, got hands-on in the kitchen, and had a lot of laughs with friends. The chef's food was incredible, and the staff made us feel especially welcome. Schotts Lake And Resort has a beautiful layout and such a relaxing feel. We left already looking forward to coming back for another event.

That salted caramel cheesecake with the Oreo crust was a pretty sinful way to finish the meal. Before that, I had the lobster mac and cheese, which was full of flavor, while my husband really enjoyed his bison short ribs. We also tried the elk spring rolls, a new one for us, with berry compote and cheese adding richness to the lean meat. The stormy weather gave us a lovely winter view from our cozy cabin. We came from Sundre for dinner and had a romantic date night, with a creative menu and a fantastic server. Definitely a must stop.

The lake view was panoramic, and the steak dinner was one of the best meals I've ever had. That chocolate puff pastry with fudge filling was a great finish. Tracy was an exceptional server, and chef Gupreet was very skilled. Thank you, and God bless you.

The appetizers were fantastic, and we really liked our drinks too. Everything we ate was delicious, with excellent service in a beautiful setting. Thanks for a lovely visit. We'll be back as soon as we can.
