Bear Creek Suite

We spent 12 hours getting there, and the owner showed no concern for us. A part of the house had been rented for people attending a wedding at the neighbours' place. Music went on until 11 p.m. the first night, then until 2 a.m. the next, stopping only when police arrived. A kitchen serving food to over 100 guests was set up right across from our windows. When I called to ask why we hadn't been warned and why all this was happening outside our room, the owner said the neighbours were friends and we could leave without a refund if we didn't like it. The cleaning was awful too. There was no mattress protector, and the extra cover under the sheets looked stained and unwashed, with hair on it. The pillows had only pillowcases, no protectors, and weren't in good condition. The bathroom was the same. A cleaner came after we complained and said this was how they always did it. She seemed surprised we knew what proper cleaning should be. Meanwhile, the owner messaged us claiming they followed hotel standards, which was a lie. This accommodation isn't worth the money. The owner doesn't respect guests and the place isn't clean. We'll ask Booking to remove this property from its listings.
