Days Inn by Wyndham Surrey

We only booked an hour before check-in and they still had a room for our two-night stay. It was small but clean, and the staff were friendly and professional. The continental breakfast tasted fresh enough, though the selection was limited. Get there early, as there might not be much left by 9:00PM. The Wi-Fi was unreliable. We could stream Netflix on a laptop, but sometimes I couldn't even do a basic Google search on my phone. It was a good stay overall, and I'd come back.

The breakfast selection was limited, with only boiled eggs each day and no other options such as fried eggs. The breakfast area also fell short on cleanliness and presentation for a Days Inn. At check-in, staff seemed neutral and didn't smile or offer the friendly gestures that make guests feel welcome. A warmer, more engaging approach would improve the first impression. This location has a lot of room to improve if it wants to reflect Days Inn's standards and service.

I stayed with my family for a week and spent a lot of money, but I wouldn't recommend this place. Breakfast was the same every morning, and when we came down around 9 one day, the sausages were gone. We asked a worker for more and she seemed bothered. She microwaved a container of sausages, then walked away while on the phone and didn't come back. We had to take the sausages out ourselves. We shouldn't have had to watch that process. I also told the front desk our room hadn't been made. My family was in the next room, and the cleaner asked my mom whether I really needed my room cleaned or if she could just change the garbage. My room still wasn't cleaned when I checked later. The beds weren't made and the garbage was still there. I'd avoid this place if you can.

I was impressed by the service during my one-night stay at Days Inn. Sam at the front desk was especially helpful. I'd forgotten my charger, and he lent me his own cable, which really helped with my upcoming journey. His considerate, supportive attitude made the stay much better. I recommend it.
