I was here for work and could sleep from 7 pm until 7 am without hearing anything from outside. The rooms were great, really quiet.

I’ve stayed here several times while working in the area, and I love the place. In a small Alberta town, location is what it is. It’s easy to unload your things right at the door, the staff are friendly, and they keep the facility as clean as they can. The rest is on us to clean up after ourselves. WiFi reception is reasonable. My one complaint is the BBQs. There’s nearly one for every room, but they’re extremely dirty, most don’t work, and they’re ready for the recycling bin. Guests should clean the BBQ after each use. It doesn’t take much effort to clean a grill, just like at home, though maybe some people don’t clean theirs there either.

Wally is one of the kindest, most caring and understanding people I’ve ever met. I’ve stayed here a few times for work and wouldn’t choose anywhere else. The rooms are private cabins, very clean and cozy, with large showers. Hearing there was a BBQ outside nearly every room had me sold. Wally also puts on a fantastic barbecue for guests every second Thursday, and it’s always been phenomenal. The potatoes are my favourite. Whether you’re working in Swan Hills or just passing through, it’s a great place to stay. The staff are accommodating, the neighbours aren’t noisy, and it’s a nice, quiet stay. If you’re lucky enough to get Wally’s barbecue, well, if ya know, ya know.

Private, comfortable accommodations that work well for travelling or work crews. The staff are friendly and glad to help however they can. The owner regularly puts on a customer appreciation BBQ, and it goes well beyond what you’d expect. Well done.
