Hotel Sous La Croix

I paid 140$ plus 28 in taxes. The room was wonderful and super cozy, with a view of Saint Lawrence River, and the décor was even better than the pictures. The bed was very comfy, and the shower had great water pressure and temperature. Yes, it's a small shower, and there's a highway nearby, but with the window shut you can barely hear it. The walls are a bit thin, though good earplugs will take care of that. I honestly don't get people's frustrations, and I'll definitely stay again.

The room was very poorly cleaned. There was a guest's hair on the pillow and cobwebs on the bedside table.

I stayed two nights on Aug 25th. The room was small but clean, with a good view. There was a fridge in the common corridor, but no coffee maker in the room, which was very frustrating for me. You have to pay $2 for a K-Cup coffee. Walking down the hill to the village is easy, but the return uphill could be hard for some people. For $450 for two nights, I don't think it was worth the value. Definitely not going back.

The village centre is an easy walk, and the views are lovely whichever way you look. Check-in and checkout were simple, and the staff were friendly and spoke some English, which helped. There’s a full kitchen with a microwave, though coffee costs $2. I had a great stay, but be aware there are stairs and apparently no lift. It could also get a little noisy at night from the heating or air conditioning, other guests, and wind outside. The walls aren’t very thick.
