Tadoussac has that memorable, old-fashioned Quebec feel, and this charming older home made a lovely base. The room was comfortable and I slept well. We had great views, plus restaurants, shops, and the whale-watching cruise just a short walk away. I’d stay here again if I’m back in the area.

The room had a coffee maker and fridge, with a toaster and microwave downstairs. Breakfast arrived in a bag to the room, apparently a holdover from COVID and the staff shortage. The guest house is an unusual, charming old wooden place near the center of Tadoussac, and a lovely woman welcomed us and showed us to our room. Facilities were good.

The bagged breakfast over our two days had a bagel, chocolatine, cheese, croissant, hard-boiled egg, and other things. There are several restaurants and bistros within walking distance, and the B&B looks out over Tadoussac Bay. Our room felt warm and inviting, with a mini fridge and a Kruig machine.

The location was awesome, and free parking was a real plus. Just keep your footsteps and conversation very quiet, since the walls are pretty thin. I was also disappointed that breakfast was only a piece of fruit, cheese, and a drink left in a paper bag in the room.

You can walk to everything from this quaint 1895 house, and breakfast is included each day. Our room had a private bathroom, and the view over Tadoussac Bay was amazing. Tadoussac itself is beautiful.
