The stay was pleasant overall. Breakfast was good for a continental option, and they now have scrambled eggs and sausage in a warming dish. I liked the shower amenities too, with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The bed felt firm, probably because it's fairly new, but the pillows were too puffy for me and I woke up with a neck ache. The room used to have a table, but now there's an armchair instead. They're renovating the bottom floor; the second and third floors have been renovated. Outside access to the bottom floor is restricted during the work, so the front door is the only way in. The front desk said you can exit through the bottom floor, just not enter that way.

We had a noise concern, and Devika offered us a different room. Really thoughtful service, 10/10. Sushi isn't included, but there's a sushi station down the street if you're interested. The packaged soy sauce was the one downside :)

The rewards program is easy to use, and I just redeemed points for two free nights. That adds to the good value here. The hotel is close to everything I need in Thunder Bay, with friendly staff who go out of their way to make you comfortable. The breakfast room is spacious and has plenty of hot options, and the beds and range of pillows are comfortable. It's an older property and there are a few carpet stains, but the service and value more than make up for that. This has become my home away from home whenever I visit Thunder Bay.

I’ve only had good stays here, including a couple that lasted two weeks. Montana and Timmies are in the same parking lot, and other good restaurants are just a short walk away.

The bed was so comfortable that I had the best sleep I’ve had in a long time. My room was very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub were clean too, though the jets weren't working very well. They were fixing them as I wrote this. Breakfast was the one letdown. It was a bit bland, the pancakes were tiny, and the eggs were just okay. Bigger pancakes and some bacon, sausage, or cheese to go with the eggs would help.
