The whole team was kind and accommodating, and my wife and I will certainly be back. We stayed while waiting for our baby to arrive, and the staff went above and beyond to keep us comfortable. Wyonna from the buffet was especially thoughtful. She checked in often and made sure we had enough of everything we wanted, then got us a lovely gift to welcome our baby home. A million thanks to her. There was also a blonde woman at the front desk whose name I didn't get. She was incredibly friendly and always asked how things were going whenever we saw her. Those two really stood out, and the whole staff were exemplary in every aspect of their work. These qualities can't be taught. Thank you all.

We’ve stayed here many times a year whenever we’re in Thunder Bay, but the rooms have been getting more worn over the past two years. Tonight’s room smelled strongly of feet, maybe from hockey bags or a dog. I love dogs, but the smell was still there after we told the front desk and they offered to air it out and spray while we went to dinner. The bed is lumpy and noisy, the sink is cracked, the tub has chips, the wallpaper is ripped, and there was blood splattered on the lampshade. They also raised the rate by $16 a night this year. There are newer, renovated places for less, so we’re ready to try somewhere else.

The location made this stay convenient. I could quickly get out for food, with Walmart, Superstore, lots of fast food, and a restaurant right outside nearby. The room was clean and nice, and breakfast was included again, as on my other stays. A decent visit.

The rooms were clean, checkout was easy, and the staff were great. The breakfast lady was especially friendly, and the breakfast bar had a pretty good selection. It’s a bit far from the airport, but not too bad. Great hotel.

The pool and common area worked really well for our family, and the staff were excellent. The room could use some repairs, though, with mould on the bathroom ceiling and damaged wallpaper. Still, a wonderful family stay.
