The breakfast spread is huge, and they even have fresh cinnamon rolls. My room was newly renovated and very clean, and the staff are super friendly. I travel for work a lot, and each time I come back the front desk welcomes me by name and makes me feel welcome again. When I'm in town, this is always my choice.

The hotel seems recently renovated and was decent overall, with no complaints about the stay itself. Noise was an issue depending on which side your room was on, and I could hear people talking in the hall from inside my room. The location loses it points: spillover from downtown, including people dealing with addiction, made parking uncomfortable because I was persistently approached. That's not really the hotel's fault, especially given the area's past.

The rooms have been upgraded and now feel bright and modern. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and they really made an effort to accommodate my needs. A great hotel to stay at.

Our accessible room was roomy and clean, and every staff member we dealt with, from the desk to housekeeping and the breakfast attendant, was polite and helpful. We were there for three nights over a weekend hockey tournament, so the hotel was packed with teams and got busy and loud. The staff handled it well. Our room faced the road, though, and traffic noise was a downside. If you're a light sleeper, ask for a room on the other side.

I've been coming to Timmins about three times a year for ten years, and this is still my first choice. It's centrally located, with groceries just across the parking lot, and breakfast is free. Great hotel.
