The Wi-Fi worked well and the location is fantastic. That’s about all I can say in its favor. I submitted a bunch of photos, so please take a look. I’d never seen so many fruit flies in a room, and there seemed to be gnats too, since the ones in the bathroom looked different and hung around the shower walls. There were no bed bugs. My room was up one flight of stairs behind door #3. From what I could tell, rooms up the second flight behind door #4 are better. An ashtray smell lingered throughout my room, the AC wasn’t plugged in, there was no trash bin, and the window screen had a hole. There was a run of candle wax on the wall. The only bathroom in my section was shared, and they never emptied its trash. I also had no fridge, though it was advertised. They gave away my “proper” room even though I had my reservation with me. You can only pay cash. It felt more like a halfway house than anything else, and I’ll never go back. Next time I’d rather stay at the motel next door in Dragon City Mall. I should’ve checked Tripadvisor before booking this dump.
