My husband and I visited 30 years ago for our wedding, and the gardens still look wonderful. There’s so much to see, with a gorgeous variety of exotic tropical plants inside. It feels like paradise, and the decor is amazing and seems well cared for. In winter it’s a warm, cozy outing. We had a beautiful time there. I’d go earlier on a weekday to miss the crowds, then enjoy the scenery.

Even with renovations going on, these free public gardens are worth a visit. The overflowing gardens show how much dedication and time has gone into them, and walking through the greenhouses takes about 15 minutes. I enjoyed a quiet moment there, watching turtles sunbathe beside the waterwheel. I even spotted a plump squirrel in one greenhouse. That little guy must be living well in there.

I love coming here with family. There’s a great playground, and the Saturday farmers market inside from 10 am to 2 pm is really cool. Entry is free, and the staff are friendly and take good care of the turtles, plants, and fish. They’re always updating the plants and adding new flower sculptures.

Allan gardens is beautiful in every season, with all kinds of plants, trees, and flowers. This was my second visit, and although the garden was under renovation today, it was still lovely and full of green. My husband and I really enjoyed being there. Highly recommend 😍

The greenhouse is such a nice warm escape when it’s cold out, and there’s a great mix of plants and trees to look around at. Allan Gardens is being renovated, but it’s still worth visiting. Entry is free, it’s open 9 AM to 5 PM, and they have community events and plant sales too. The staff are helpful and know their stuff. I’m looking forward to coming back when the work is done.
