Comfort Inn East

My family stayed here for more than a week, from August 29th to September 7th, and we were extremely happy with the location. It was easy to get around, and both the rooms and public areas were clean. The management and staff were friendly, and room service was wonderful. I’d happily recommend the place. A kind Indian girl at the front desk, whose name I’m sorry I forgot, and the two ladies who came to service the room were all very helpful. Thanks to everyone for treating us with kindness throughout our stay.

A waste of money. My room wasn’t even ready when I arrived, and the area had little to do besides eat at low-quality restaurants. The bathroom was dirtier than a public pool bathroom, the paint was chipped everywhere, the walls were stained, and there was hardly any room to move around. Breakfast was okay. I went to bed thinking the bed was fine, then woke up covered in red bites.

There were cockroaches in my room, and when I checked out early because of them, the front desk woman just shrugged, like it was nothing new. The room was dark with only one light, smelled strange and had no soundproofing. I could hear the person next door talking, and their shower in the middle of the night woke me. I’d have slept better in my car under an underpass. There was also a $200 cash deposit required from another guest, and I saw the front desk turn them away when they didn’t have it. This property ruined my Toronto trip and my sleep. It should be condemned and torn down. It feels unfair to take my money while calling this a motel and letting people book online without seeing how bad it is. I’ll never stay at a Wyndham again.

Hello, I was unhappy with my stay from September 27 to 28. The hair dryer and its holder were extremely dirty, with smudges and dust, and the ventilation grille was clogged with a lot of dust and dirt. There were stains and rust on the walls and equipment, and the shower curtain was visibly marked, dirty and moldy. The electrical outlet was unprotected. These are more than cosmetic problems. Mold and the buildup of dust and dirt can be health risks, and the conditions showed an obvious lack of safety and hygiene for guests, especially on longer stays. My credit card was cloned at this establishment, and I was a victim of fraud.
