Crowne Plaza Toronto Suites

We stayed for 15 days, from Dec 22, 2025 to Jan 5, 2026, during Toronto's snowy season. Watching the snowfall each day was lovely, almost like a wallpaper video on YouTube. Our room was comfortable, cozy, and relaxing, always neat, with daily refreshments and cleaning. The employees, including the front desk and housekeeper, were polite and friendly. The lobby felt chill and cozy too. We were in Midtown Toronto, not far from downtown, and our room surprisingly faced downtown Toronto, with a view of the CN Tower on clear days.

It was easy to get around from this convenient location, and everything in the hotel, from our room to the shared spaces, was very clean. The relaxing, resort-like atmosphere made it easy to unwind after a long day. Most of all, the team stood out for their customer service, going above and beyond. They welcomed me warmly from the moment I arrived and were both professional and kind. I'd happily stay again and recommend Crowne Plaza North York.

The restaurant was okay, with good food and drinks, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Service was also okay. I was disappointed by the lack of in-room dining, which made things less convenient, and the gym was available but poorly equipped. An average stay with room to improve.

The first room had hair on the bed, so they moved us to another one. That room had a lot of mould in the shower stall. We also lost a night's sleep over the thermostat issue, which the hotel appears to already know about from earlier reviews. They moved us again on the morning of checkout, as if that would make up for the bad night and losses we'd had. There were multiple problems in the rooms, with no real fixes, and the hotel didn't seem to care about paying guests' experience. I've stayed at 2.5- or 3-star hotels with better maintenance, service, and compassion than this supposed 4-star place. Absolutely shocking.
