Delta Hotels by Marriott Toronto Airport & Conference Centre

The bathroom and linens were clean and in better shape than much of the rest of the hotel. Service was good, and the staff I interacted with were fairly pleasant. The beds were comfortable, the room was adequate for our stay, and the heating and cooling worked really well. Still, the place could use a refresh. The carpets looked dated and stained, and some outlets didn’t work. We were up at 6 for the Sunday competition, so the planes starting around 7:30 or 8 wasn’t a problem, though I could hear them again at 11 pm. They didn’t stop me from falling asleep. The alarm clock was sticky all over underneath when I lifted it to dim the display, which was incredibly gross. Also, the fridge froze half our fruit, dips, and vegetables even though it wasn’t half full. I tried adjusting it, but didn’t notice any change. Annoying and a financial loss, though not the end of the world. Parking was decent. For the dance competitions we could always get in and out and find a spot, though there was a bit of a walk. Accessible parking seemed limited. The pool was great, but seating was scarce during a large event. At 10 pm Sunday there were no seats, so I waited on a couch outside the pool area. Thankfully my girls are 12.5 and strong swimmers, and they have a pool at home.

Breakfast at Orchid Café was delicious, with lots of options, and Ginny’s warm, attentive service made the morning especially nice. She paid attention to the details and made sure we got off to a great start. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well maintained throughout our stay. Thanks to Ginny and the team for making it memorable. We’ll definitely return!

Nash and the management team were especially helpful with our payment situation, and their kindness and professionalism stood out. The front desk staff were helpful from check-in through checkout. I was at Delta Toronto for a conference, and the food was outstanding, with fresh fruit, salads, flavorful entrees, and plenty of well-prepared vegetables. A great stay and very good service.

Lot 41 was decent, and the Starbucks in the lobby was handy, though it doesn’t open until 6:30, which could be inconvenient if you’re up early. The hotel was okay. Being close to the airport, some noise was expected, and having ear plugs in the room was a nice bonus.
