The first towels smelled a bit musty, though the replacement set was fine. Besides that, I was very happy with my week in the apartment suite at the Downtown Home Inn. The staff knew the area and were helpful with suggestions for attractions. Even in the hot weather, the room stayed cool and comfortable, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was included and had good options, although I mostly ate cereal. I'd recommend the Downtown Home Inn.

The breakfasts were generous, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. It's a great place to stay, with a fabulous location. The stairs are steep, and the shelf in the shared bathroom could have used a dusting, but there's not much else to complain about. You'll like it.

The location was very good, and the place was generally okay, but a few fixes would make it much better. We stayed for two nights, and the Lilly room was so small we could barely open our suitcases on the floor and had to jump over them. In the shared bathroom, the hand towel had blood or something similar on it and wasn't changed during our stay. Breakfast ran out of basics like bagels and green tea, and there was no orange juice. It would also have been useful to have somewhere to leave daily feedback for the staff.

The gluten-free options were such a fantastic surprise. My guest and I also found the bed comfortable, the room clean, and the other guests quiet. The location couldn't be beat, and the hospitality was wonderful. I don't think I could have enjoyed a bed and breakfast more. We'll definitely stay here again when we're visiting Toronto. Thank you so much!

The location was great, and the food was good too, with a big breakfast selection every morning. But this three-night stay was disappointing after I'd had a great experience here two years ago. We were in the LILLY room, which was extremely small and hot every night, even though temperatures were below zero throughout our trip. There was also a loud tapping on the metal roof outside our window that kept us awake night after night. I slept less than I would during a busy work week at home. Staff offered to refund one night, but moving somewhere else at such short notice wasn't feasible, so we stayed. Management then stopped replying to my emails and didn't fix the problem.
