I was between apartments when I found Elliott House, and Pauline and Jeff took in me and my two cats like family. I'm so grateful to them. The house is lovely and peaceful, with two bathrooms and a nice selection of breakfast treats. If you're visiting Toronto, I'm sure Pauline and Jeff would be wonderful ambassadors for the city. And if, like me, you need a port in a storm, Elliott House is a warm, cozy place to land.

Getting around was easy by public transit. The tram stop on King Street is very close, and it's convenient for downtown or Bloor GO station, where you can catch a train to the airport. Our room was comfortable and spacious. The bathroom was clean and roomy, and the owners were kind and helpful.

After travelling through Canada, I finally had my first peaceful night's sleep in five months here. The rooms were clean, the showers were great, and the location near the water and downtown was perfect. It has a warm family feel, and the house has a beautiful old charm. The owners are really friendly, and the price is good. My room was comfortable, clean, and spacious. It has a relaxed, homelike feel. Street cars are just around the corner, with good restaurants and bars within walking distance.

A lovely couple runs the place, and they're happy to help with anything. The room was nice, the bed was comfy, and the ensuite was good. Breakfast had plenty of choice, and there was lots of information about places to go. Handy for the street car into the city. Perfect!
