They seem to plant evidence to charge you for cleaning if you've asked questions or made a complaint. We were missing a mop and had only a broom, so how are you meant to clean the floor? When we changed rooms, I almost lost my luggage for a whole day. I tracked it down at 1 am in the middle of the night. Staff appeared willing to help, but didn't do much. The whole situation became a pain point for the cleaning staff, who seemed uncomfortable about cleaning after checkout.

We’re a senior couple from Calgary and stayed in Glen Grove at 736 Bay St Suite 2306. It was rated a deluxe suite, but it needs a good clean and a facelift to match. In the kitchen, dirt had collected in the corners, and although the coffee pot was great, there were no filters in the cupboard. The living and dining area had a couch with greasy, dirty armrests, a footstool with a cigarette burn, a missing light bulb with live wires hanging down, and balcony windows with at least a year’s worth of dirt. The shades were broken and couldn't be adjusted. In the bathroom, the towel rack had been pulled off the wall, and the shower curtain wouldn't stay attached.

The location downtown is convenient, and St. Lawrence market is nearby. That's a must-see. A good place to stay.
