Hotel X Toronto

We spent more than three hours playing the retro arcade games inside the hotel in March 2026, and could easily have stayed longer. We booked through Eventbright. Most of the games worked great, except the bowling machine. There were lots of active, engaging options, like racing cars and motorcycles, a dance pole, and basketball. It’s a good outing for two or three friends, but the space isn’t as big as you might expect and won’t fit more than five. I parked with "spot hero" for $6, though it meant a 14-minute walk each way. "Green P" is closer.

The food was outstanding, the rooms were beautifully appointed and comfortable, and the views were spectacular. I stayed at Hotel X for a conference from January 11th to the 14th, and the amenities made the visit relaxing and convenient. Ben and Andray went above and beyond to welcome us. They were warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, a real credit to the hotel. I’d happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the city or attending a conference.

The location by the lake is great, and the hotel has excellent facilities. The rooms are spacious, modern, and well appointed. But the service, while professional, felt short on empathy. It seemed like staff cared more about the credit card than building a relationship with guests. The bathroom amenities were basic, sometimes below what I’d expect for the room rates. There’s parking under the hotel, but it costs extra, and the hotel didn’t seem willing to make accommodations unless they involved paying more. When my partner was ill and our flight wasn’t until 6 p.m., I asked for a one-hour late checkout so she could rest. We’d only checked in around 1 a.m. that same day. The request was promptly refused in a cold but professional way. This hotel doesn’t seem interested in helping customers unless it has to, so I wouldn’t choose to stay here again unless I had to.

I’ve stayed at Hotel X twice in one month, first for a girls’ weekend and then for New Year’s, and I love the vibe and service here. The pool is incredible, and the spa felt like true five-star service. My appointments during the stay were perfect. The hotel event was beautifully done and ran seamlessly, and dinner at both restaurants was fantastic. We’ll be back for more staycations soon. Hotel X never disappoints.
