Lum The Queen

Suite one had what I needed, though it's pretty basic. The thin walls meant we could hear noisy neighbors on our first night. Some of the higher-up areas could use a little work, but overall the place was kept up well enough.

Lum Stay was one of the most satisfying places I've stayed. The hotel was clean and the price very affordable. My only note is that some towels had hair from other guests on them. If that gets fixed, everything would be perfect.

I've stayed here twice, for three to four nights each time, and really enjoyed both visits. It's a clean, private place in a great neighborhood, with restaurants, cute shops, and all sorts of interesting things nearby. Having a secure parking spot of your own in the back is gold. The rooms are straightforward and basic, so fancy amenities might change your rating. There's no staff on site, but they reply quickly to texts. I'll stay here again.

We were on the upper level in #5, a roomy one-bedroom apartment with a full kitchen. It was tidy and reasonably priced, and having a parking spot included was a big plus. The low bed was really comfortable. There are quite a few stairs, as other reviews mention, but they weren't a problem for us. Communication was good, with someone checking whether we'd arrived and if we had any concerns. The arrival and location directions were very clear. Transit is right outside, and downtown is walkable. There are also plenty of places to eat and shops close by.
